Architecture Review

🏡 Architectural Review Committee (ARC) – Quick Overview

Planning an exterior project? Here’s how the ARC process works:

💬 Start with a Quick Conversation (Optional)
Before submitting anything, you’re welcome to reach out to the Property Administrator SarahLuttrell@TowneProperties.com) or an ARC committee chairs (Kaylynn Allen or Jonathon Crowe) to talk through your ideas. This can help clarify requirements and avoid delays—but keep in mind this feedback is informal.

Review our governing documents which spell out the requirements for our neighborhood. Owner’s Manual and Design Standards.

📄 Submit Your Request
Complete the ARC request form and send it (with any supporting documents, plans, photos, or details) to the Property Administrator by email.

📋 Review Process

  • The Property Administrator logs your request and checks that it’s complete
  • Your request is then sent to the ARC Committee for review
  • The ARC reviews it against HOA guidelines and may ask for more information if needed

✔️ Decision

  • Approved: You’ll receive written approval and can move forward. Typically within 2 weeks.
  • Denied: You’ll receive an explanation, including reference to the applicable rules

⚖️ Appeals (if needed)
If your request is denied, you may appeal to the HOA Board through the Property Manager. The Board will review and issue a final decision.

📁 Recordkeeping
All documents (request, plans, decisions, etc.) are saved in the HOA’s online portal for future reference.
